Cafe Routier opened to critical acclaim in 1996. Originally "The Truckstop Cafe" it has grown from a wee 30 seat Bistro into what appears today in Westbrook, CT. Two dining rooms, a lounge and bar offer a broad breadth of menus and ethos for whatever MOOD.

New Deal was opened in July 1996 and has had an increasing business every year. It is one of the most popular steak houses on the shoreline. Welcome to Creative Cooking...something different in a fine dining adventure. Sunil Malhotra is the owner/chef who lends a diverse and distinguished background to this restaurant's taste.
Most Cajun restaurants use pre-made spice combinations. At Creative Cooking, Sunil creates his own blends. They are not overbearingly hot. For Sunil, "Spices must be mixed in the amounts in the right amounts and the right combinations, never dominating each other, always enhancing each other."
